Lichtschip

The beginning

During the summer of 2015 we, Nancy and Frank, bought our X 412 to go on a long sailing trip. We started our journey in Vlissingen (Holland) and sailed south to the Canaries. This period was important for us to get used to the ship and become a strong team. On the 23th of July we left Gran Canaria and headed to Bonaire. This few weeks, during hurricane season, we were ‘one’ with the Atlantic Ocean. After sunset and with a good glass of wine, we are glad to tell you some details.
Halfway the crossing we bought our residence at the oceanfront that we now call ‘Lichtschip’.  On the 14th of August we arrived safely in the harbor of Bonaire. From that date we changed the house into our ‘Lichtschip Residence’
